Children's Ministry Director: Debbie Bissonnett

Our Sunday School and Jr. Church hours are specifically designed to minister to children
4 years old through 6th Grade. The goal and purpose of our ministry is to teach them:
God's abundant love, forgiveness and mercy
Truths from the Bible
God-honoring attitudes and actions
Songs of worship and praise
and how to apply these things in their lives every day.

Annual Children's Ministry Events

WWJD DAY CAMP

I would like to thank each of the 65 children and workers who participated in our WWJD Day Camp this year. They went out into our community to clean local parks, collect food for The Father’s Heart Street Ministry and help our seniors with yard work. They made 22 blankets and 100 wordless bracelets that will be distributed to children in

Mexico and 150 personalized bookmarks for the Multnomah County women’s prison ministry.

The goal of this program is to teach our children to have a servant’s heart by being generous, kind and helpful to others. Each year, I am amazed and overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness and unconditional love that they show while learning how to serve others. It is my great privilege to work with workers and children who are willing to give of their personal time, treasure and energy to serve the needs of others.
