The AWANA Pledge: The purpose of the AWANA ministry is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and train them to serve Him. The AWANA ministry at Tri-City Baptist Temple works in unison with the other ministries at TCBT to help children learn about Jesus and grow in Him.

 

AWANA meets every Wednesday at 7:00 PM

 

We would like very much for your child/children to participate in our AWANA program.  Our AWANA Clubs operate each year from September through June and are for young people ages three years old through the 6th grade.  Our AWANA Program is just one of more than 16,000 clubs operating around the world.  TCBT's AWANA Clubs are open to all youth in the community.  Although our AWANA Clubs are an extension of the Children's Minsitries at TCBT, church membership is not a requirement for participants in the AWANA program.

If you would like to pay the annual fees for your child online, please click on the corresponding link below.  Please note that the amount is a fixed amount PER CHILD and includes one uniform, one book, and the annual dues of $20.  Please be sure to choose the correct AWANA group for your child.

Our AWANA Clubs enjoy several annual events.  We hope you will be able to join us!

AWANA Kick-Off Spaghetti Dinner ~ Information and Pre-Registration will be available for the 2008-2009 AWANA Club year on September 10, 2008.  Please plan to join us from 7-9 PM in the Family Center for this spaghetti feast.  Tickets will be available in August. Please see above for Online Registration Information.

 

AWANA Games ~ On March 7, 2009, the annual Portland AWANA Games will be held. This year, there will also be the opportunity to go on to the first ever AWANA Northwest Regional State Championship Games on March 14, 2009.

 

AWANA Grand Prix Races ~ On April 18, 2009, Children, parents and workers create their very own Grand Prix race car for this fun and exciting event.  Awards are given for SPEED & DESIGN in each age group.  Plan to purchase your car kit and join us!

 

AWANA Award Ceremony ~ On June 3, 2009, we will all celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our AWANA.  Awards and certificates are given to clubbers and workers for their many achievements.  After the ceremony, we will all go to the Fellowship Hall for cake and ice cream!
