Music
and
Drama
Ministries
at
Tri-City
Baptist
Temple
We have
Musical
Ministries
for all
ages!
General
Requirements
for all
Participants
First
and
foremost,
the call
of the
Holy
Spirit
is vital
to
anyone
desiring
to join
any
aspect
of
Tri-City
Baptist
Temple’s
worship
leadership
team. If
you feel
God is
prompting
you to
join a
ministry
then we
encourage
you to
do it as
an act
of
obedience
to our
Lord. We
will
work to
edify
and
support
those
that are
less
skilled
than
others
as we
“make a
joyful
noise
unto the
Lord.”
Psalm
95
It is
important
that
those
participating
in this
ministry
area
understand
that the
role of
music
and
drama in
worship
is not
to give
people
an
opportunity
to
highlight
their
own
personal
skills
or
talents
in front
of an
audience.
Instead,
we serve
to
enable
Christ's
body to
worship
Him
through
an act
of
service
and
humility.
The
attitude
of the
heart is
key to
this
Biblical
concept
as we
strive
to
remove
the idea
of a
group
“performing”
for an
audience,
and
focus on
the
entire
body of
Christ
worshiping
Him.
Matthew
6
All the
ministries
listed
below
are
considered
part of
the
Tri-City
Baptist
Temple
leadership
team,
and
therefore
the
people
involved
with
them
should
be
professing
Born
Again
Christians
and a
member
of
Tri-City
Baptist
Temple.
The
Pastor’s
Leadership
Standards
are
presented
to all
adult
members
of
Tri-City’s
leadership
team.
"Oh come,
let us
sing to
the
LORD!
Let us
shout
joyfully
to the
Rock of
our
salvation.
Let us
come
before
His
presence
with
thanksgiving;
Let us
shout
joyfully
to Him
with
psalms.
For the
LORD is
the
great
God,
And the
great
King
above
all
gods."
Psalm
95:1-3
"And
when you
pray,
you
shall
not be
like the
hypocrites.
For they
love to
pray
standing
in the
synagogues
and on
the
corners
of the
streets,
that
they may
be seen
by men.
Assuredly,
I say to
you,
they
have
their
reward."
Matthew
6:5

Room to
Grow
The
staff
and
members
of
Tri-City
Baptist
Temple
want
to
encourage
you
to
follow
the
Lord
as
the
Holy
Spirit
leads
you.
If
you
have
a
special
skill
or
talent
that
you
feel
God
is
urging
you
to
use,
please
head
His
call
by
joining
a
ministry
or
starting
one
of
your
own!
God
works
in
ways
that
we
cannot
always
understand,
so
be
sure
that
if
he
is
moving
you
to
action
that
you
respond!
"As
you
do
not
know
what
is
the
way
of
the
wind,
Or
how
the
bones
grow
in
the
womb
of
her
who
is
with
child,
So
you
do
not
know
the
works
of
God
who
makes
everything."
Ecclesiastes
11:5
"And
we
know
that
all
things
work
together
for
good
to
those
who
love
God,
to
those
who
are
the
called
according
to
His
purpose."
Romans
8:28
"Trust
in
the
LORD
with
all
your
heart,
And
lean
not
on
your
own
understanding."
Proverbs
3:5
