Dr. K.R. & JoAnn
McCormick

Pastor McCormick is a native of Oklahoma. As a young boy of five,
he and his family moved to Texas. After graduating from Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas in
1955, he attended the University of Texas. He moved to Tucson, Arizona, where he met and married his
wife JoAnn. God blessed them with 2 children, Ken Jr. and Deborah. Pastor and JoAnn have been
married 46 years and both were saved at Tucson Baptist Temple under the ministry of Dr. Louis
Johnson in 1961. In 1969 Pastor felt the calling of the Lord and they entered Baptist Bible College
in Springfield, Missouri.
After graduation in 1972, he served on staff at Alice Avenue Baptist Church as Sunday School
Administrator under the direction of Rev. Charles Vaden. In 1973, Pastor and his family moved to
Portland, Oregon to begin a New Testament Baptist Church. Tri-City Baptist Temple is located in
Gladstone, Oregon at 18025 Webster Rd. The Church began with 16 members and today the Lord has
increased the membership to approximately 2200.
